Damn Good Days, Damn Bad Days & the Regular Days In Between

We sure have had a hell of a last three and a half years haven’t we? What you will be watching tonight is a collection of short plays, monologues and stories that explore the ebbs and flows of our lives. This collection of plays looks at how our lives can ride such highs and drag us through incredible lows yet still - our human spirit has the ability to rise above and shine through it all.

I’m incredibly proud to have worked with this talented group of West Valley College actors on this piece and appreciative of their hard work and collaboration as we’ve pieced this together. This script has evolved from auditions to today. We’ve added pieces, subtracted pieces, shifted words to feel more truthful to our performers and created a piece that feels like it has a little piece of each of us to make something that is complete.

We have all had some damn bad days, some damn good days and some regular days sprinkled throughout in the past three and a half years. And now, more than ever – having a regular day feels like a small blessing – doesn’t it?

The show will run approximately 95 minutes with no intermission.
