Before joining the faculty at West Valley in 1994, I was a tenured math instructor at Pasadena City College.

I have also taught part-time at Santa Clara University, New York University, and Santa Monica College.

Hobbies

My favorite things to do outside of teaching are playing music, learning from teachers from Zimbabwe, walking with my husband and our two dogs, going to live shows (music and theater), traveling, reading fiction, and cooking.
