The Office of Student Equity Experience is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all students to ensure a sense of belonging through support programs, workshops, and events. These programs partner with other equity programs on campus, including EOPS, DESP, Office of Student Needs, and Veterans Resource Center) and reside under the Vice President of Student Services, Diversity and Inclusion. The Office of Student Equity Experience also supports the implementation of college-wide initiatives such as the Anti-Racism Action Plan and the Equity Plan.
Our office is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Services Center, SSC 207.
CaCCCHE brings together practitioners across the state to share knowledge that promotes the success of cultural and affinity centers, learning communities, and support services to promote the larger equity agendas at college campuses.
We invite you to join us on Friday, December 8th from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM for CaCCCHE's Fall 2023 NorCal "Drive In" Conference.
The WVC Office of Student Equity will have a limited number of complimentary registrations for those who are interested in learning more about how they can support equity centers and programming. Please contact Dr. Stacy Nojima or "JT" Jasmine Torres for more information on this opportunity.
